The CourseLantern workflow

A training content system built around source accuracy.

CourseLantern connects document intake, lesson design, stakeholder review, AI-avatar video production, localization, and LMS-ready delivery. Each stage has a clear owner and approval point.

Inputs

Start with the material your teams already maintain.

The best starting point is not a blank prompt. It is the approved knowledge already used to run the business, together with the people responsible for its accuracy.

PowerPoint presentations and facilitator decks
Policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures
Work instructions, checklists, and process diagrams
Existing scripts, videos, and course outlines
Role, site, and language requirements
Brand, terminology, and review guidance

Source check. Source quality varies. During discovery, we identify conflicting versions, missing owners, and material that needs clarification before it should become training.

Production stages

Five stages, with review where it matters.

01

Source audit and learning map

We inventory the supplied material, identify the intended learners and operational decisions, separate universal content from role or site variations, and define the review team.

Output

Source map, module outline, audience and language matrix, open questions.

02

Script and scene plan

We reshape document language into a teachable sequence, preserving required terms while making each step clear in narration and on screen.

Output

Reviewable script, scene plan, visual requirements, proposed knowledge checks where included in scope.

03

Expert review and approval

Your designated reviewers check procedure accuracy, policy meaning, terminology, and role fit. CourseLantern resolves comments and records the approved production source.

Output

Approved master script and review record.

04

Video and language production

The approved lesson is produced with an agreed AI-avatar presenter, voice, captions, on-screen instruction, and brand treatment. Language versions follow the approved master, with human regional review when required by the content.

Output

Review videos, captions, transcripts, and agreed language variants.

05

LMS-ready delivery and maintenance plan

We prepare the agreed delivery format around the LMS requirements confirmed during discovery and provide a simple record of module, language, version, approval date, and source dependency.

Output

Final delivery set, handoff notes, version manifest, and update path.

Language control

One approved master, visible language dependencies.

Roles and responsibilities

Your experts approve the meaning. CourseLantern runs the content workflow.

CourseLantern

  • Structure source material into modules
  • Draft scripts and scene plans
  • Coordinate the defined review cycle
  • Produce approved AI-avatar video and language versions
  • Prepare agreed delivery assets and version records

Your team

  • Supply current, authorized source material
  • Name operational and policy reviewers
  • Approve scripts, terminology, visuals, and language choices
  • Confirm brand and workforce requirements
  • Own final policy, procedure, and training-release decisions

LMS administrator

  • Confirm accepted delivery formats and technical constraints
  • Define completion, scoring, hosting, and replacement behavior
  • Test the package or media in the target environment
  • Publish, assign, and report through the LMS

Maintenance

Treat a changed procedure as a controlled content update.

When a source policy or SOP changes, the approved master identifies which module, scene, transcript, and language versions may be affected. CourseLantern can scope the update from that dependency record instead of treating the lesson as an unrelated new production.

Plan a maintainable training library

Platform questions

Is CourseLantern software or a service?

CourseLantern is presented as a managed learning-content system. The exact combination of workflow, production, and ongoing maintenance is scoped around the source library, review team, languages, and LMS environment.

Does CourseLantern write new policies or procedures?

No. CourseLantern restructures customer-approved source material for training. Operational, legal, and policy ownership remains with the customer and its designated reviewers.

Can we begin with one module?

Yes. A representative module can expose source, review, language, and LMS requirements before a broader library is planned. Scope and deliverables are agreed before work begins.

Are human presenters or on-site filming included?

The core offer uses AI-avatar video and supplied or approved visual material. Any custom filming, location capture, or specialized illustration would require a separate scope.

See what the workflow needs from your team.

Share the type of material you maintain, the learners it serves, and the systems it must enter. We will help frame the source and review questions first.
